Selection Rules

Come Hell: The Zombcult always charges a unit if the result they need to roll for charge distance is 9 or less. The Zombrute Always prioritizes Vehicles when shooting Lascannon or Multi-Melta; otherwise, shoot the highest Toughness first. If all units in range are of equal Toughness (or vehicles' facing has the same AV), shoot at the nearest of them. The Zombrute can shoot and charge different units.

Come High Water: Zombcult has the first turn and start with two formations on the map. Every turn (including the first), 1+d3 new formations appear on the map as reinforcements. Whenever any single model remains on the defenders' side of a river (Yneras, Tonito) on the beginning of Zombcult turn, new reinforcements are deployed as per the Outflank Special rule in the area between the breached river and the next one. If River Evirah is breached, Reinforcements appear as close as possible to Sanctus Satanus.

Never Stop: The Zombcult always moves full distance toward Sanctus Satanus whenever possible. They are not slowed down by Difficult Terrain, but still have to pass Dangerous Terrain tests.

Apocalyptic Fury: The Zombrute has Rage. When rolling to hit with the Zombrute's Melee attacks, any unmodified rolls of a 1 hit a friendly model instead. Randomly determine (for each roll of a 1) which models within 6" of the Helbrute are hit instead.

Champion of Zombios: A Model with this rule must issue and accept challenges. Where there are multiple models with this rule, the controlling player may decide.
Whenever a model with this rule kills a character, roll a D66 and consult the Chaos Boon chart. This boon remains for the rest of the game. If the result is replacing the model with another, replace it with a Zombrute instead.

Crazed: Each time the Zombrute suffers a Glance or Penetrating hit, add a crazed marker. At the start of the next movement phase, roll a D3 (and consult the chart in its profile in Codex: Chaos Space Marines) for each marker and then remove the markers.

Zombie Shields: If the Zombrute is partially obscured from one or more of the formations Zombists, it recieves a 3+ Cover save but a model from the Zombist unit is removed (without saves) for each successful save as a result of this rule.

Living Idol of Zombios: If the Helbrute is destroyed, all Zombist units in 6" of it and gain Zealot for that turn.
